Air dried means that this wood is about 20% water content. It will adjust to the environment’s moisture levels but it will move and shrink. This movement can cause warping & splitting.

We have not oiled this bundle, but we recommend you do. This shows how the oil brings out the grain and shows off the deep lines in the wood. The result is a bold, natural finish that catches the eye.

This is a natural product, so some resin pockets may remain in the wood, knots may loosen over time, and a small amount of twisting/warping may still happen over time, depending on the moisture and temperature. These are normal and part of what gives Ash its charm.
