Stunning British Pippy Solid Planed Kiln Dried Oak Boards
The pieces in this bundle are 150 -250 mm wide ( 200 on average). All are pippy and some have burr.
Live and plain edges. Both sides are planed. One side is good. Please see photos.
This bundle is kiln dried (10-12% MC).
We have not oiled this bundle. Oil brings out the grain and shows off the deep lines in the wood. The result is a bold, natural finish.
You can use those as stylish decorative pieces in any room, for a furniture, occasional shelves, window sills or anything else you desire.
This is a natural product, so some resin pockets may remain in the wood, knots may loosen over time, and a small amount of twisting/warping may still happen, depending on the moisture and temperature. These are normal and part of what gives oak its charm.
